You should see the movie Tropa De Elite (Elite Squad American Title) if you haven't seen it already. Its about BOPE.

Actually, i've seen this movie just after it's release. The movie is based on a book called Elite da Tropa (something like Elite of the squad).
I live in Rio de Janeiro, where real BOPE headquarter takes place, so I know them way before the film. By the way, it's a grat movie.
